BECOME A WALK VOLUNTEER

Why are you volunteering to walk in the Sashbear Walk?

“To give back. As much as we have been empowered, with the hope & skills and community, offered by Sashbear and Family Connections - we want others to have a chance to benefit too! This walk and funds raised helps Sashbear offer the FC program free of charge to any willing participant. We are grateful.”

“I am walking to promote how important Family Connections and Sashbear have been to my family and build awareness to others who need support.”

“Because Sashbear and Family Connections™ have made a significant difference in my life both as a participant as well as a co-faciliator.”

“SashBear and Family Connections™ are a godsend to help families navigate the lonely road of parenting a child with emotional dysregulation.”

“I am walking because I have struggled with BPD for the majority of my life and this program has helped my mother so so much and has ultimately helped us have a better relationship today.”

“I am walking for my daughter who is diagnosed with BPD. I attended Family Connections™ in 2019 and it was amazing.”

    DONATE

We are sincerely grateful for your donations—for helping us make waves for mental health.

The objective of The Sashbear Foundation is to lead a mental health reform by promoting awareness for the need of early prevention, recognition, timely intervention and access to affordable treatment of individuals with emotional dysregulation. The Foundation offers Family Connections, an evidence-based group program that provides education, skills training, and support for people who are in a relationship with someone who has emotion dysregulation or related problems. Family Connections groups meet weekly over twelve weeks, or two intensive weekends, and are offered throughout several Canadian provinces, in English and in French.

Your actions help us help families across Canada. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    Yours in skills and hope,
