We have one week to meet our goal!

We have raised over $33,000 of our $60,000 goal - AMAZING! In these times of challenge, we are so grateful for your support and the returning support of our Presenting Sponsors - THANK YOU!

We need your help to reach our goal. This year, registration is FREE. Get your friends, families, supporters and companies involved.

Spread the word: share the event by any means or tag us on social media @sasbearorg #SashbearWebWalk #SashbearChallenge

All the funds raised go directly to supporting families and loved ones struggling with their mental health, and especially now, in these difficult times.

Get inspired by the Sashbear Challenge on Instragram and Facebook

To raise money for Sashbear, wear something orange, take a picture or video of an exercise or activity of your choice (get creative!), and share it with your supporters.

Use #SashbearChallenge to share it with everyone. We can still move together and get active at home. If you haven't already, register now. It's not too late!

Jo's 30 Day Sashbear Challenge

"Family Connections at Sashbear gave me tools to help my loved ones when they struggle with mental health—priceless. This is my 5th Sashbear Walk. To raise funds, this year I have challenged myself to do a different COVID-19 compliant physical activity for 30 days in a row. I am on day 22! The support has been phenomenal. You can see all of my daily posts and those of other participants on instagram and facebook—#SashbearChallenge. They may give you some ideas to get moving for the Sashbear Web Walk at your own pace, in your own space, AND a few chuckles!"—Jo

Submit a 6 second walk video

In response to COVID-19, The Sashbear Foundation found another way to bring their annual Walk to life.

See what some of us have done. Send us your video of you walking across your screen. We want to see you walk with us! Have fun with it!

Wear orange and dance across your kitchen, do the worm with the kids, or simply wave hello! We are stitching every submission together to bring our 8th annual walk to life – online.

No matter where you are, we can all share the love!

Please send your video to submissions@sashbear.org

Why this walk is so important to us

Funds raised will go to initiatives like the Family Connections™ Program. In 2019, Sashbear ran over 80 Family Connections™ groups. Overall, these groups reached 1,100 family members by teaching them the skills needed to reduce stress, increase empowerment and better support their loved ones on their mental health journey.

This year, with COVID-19, Sashbear has shifted its focus to online skills delivery—“alone, at home, and together”. Sashbear continues to shine bright in the mental health community, spreading the message of skills and hope through conference engagements and research projects all over the world.

"Without Sashbear, my family would be shattered in millions of pieces. I have learned to look at my loved one with new eyes.

Sashbear has brought back love, tranquility and hope into our family!"

Thank you!

Thank you

We are thrilled to be moving forward with our 8th annual Walk.

We’ll see you soon.

Yours in skills and hope,

The Team at The Sashbear Foundation
