Volunteer placed where needed on the day of the walk

Site Management (early start)
Prepare park for walk

Volunteer Registration Volunteer (stationary position, early start)
Volunteer works at registration station for volunteers

VIP Registration Volunteer (stationary position)
Volunteer works at registration station for VIPs

"Mindfulness Bridge" Volunteer (stationary position)
Holds mindfulness messages along bridge

"Sandwich" Message Board Volunteer
Carries "sandwich" message boards of awareness walking along 5k path

Photographer &/or Videographer
Takes action pictures and/or video during walk day including preparations, opening ceremonies, the walk,  mindfulness bridge and finish line

First Aid Volunteer (First Aid Certification desired)
Stationed at one of the 5 first aid/passport stations (stationary position).  One person per station will need to have First Aid Certification.

Route Marshall Volunteer
Stationed around the walk site for route direction, security and safety purposes

"Speaker's Corner" Volunteer (stationary position)
Stationed at Speaker Corner station.  Helps video participants commenting from a list of pre-selected topics 

Technical and Staging Assistant
Assist with set-up of audio equipment and staging

Finish Line Volunteer
Stationed at Finish Line, welcoming participants as they finish the walk

Information Table Volunteer (stationary position)
Engaging with and educating the community on what Sashbear is all about

Moving Volunteer (Required on Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th)
Assist with loading and unloading truck at event and at Sashbear office

Entertainment Volunteer
Musicians engaged to perform at the walk

Speakers
Speakers engaged to speak at the walk

Tear-Down
Pack up Sashbear signage and other materials

Donations Table
Process donations using our Square payment system

Messages Table
Encourage Walk participants to leave messages of hope and support
