Family ConnectionsTM Courses in Alberta
ABOUT Family ConnectionsTM
Family ConnectionsTM is a 24-hour course providing education, skills training and support for people who are in a relationship with someone struggling with emotion dysregulation or mental health issues. It is a peer program led by trained group facilitators who are family members and who have taken the course themselves.
Family Connections is open to anyone 18 years of age and older who has a loved one struggling with mental health issues. The course is not for those who are struggling, only for the family members supporting them.
We offer the course several times a year throughout Alberta, in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and Stony Plain. The course may be delivered as 12 evening classes (in Edmonton), or over two weekends (four days in total).
You may sign up to receive email announcements about courses as they are scheduled.
Add your name and information into your preferred city - Announcement List for Future Classes listing below.
This does not guarantee you a spot, but you will receive an email with information on how to register once classes are scheduled.
HOW TO REGISTER
Registration is only available for a short time, and typically opens 4-6 weeks before a course begins.
We only accept registrations when a course is confirmed, including dates and location. If the event listing says "Announcement List" or "TBD", you are not registering into a course.
